LiqPay is a merchant payment service whose published requirements list gambling, betting and casinos among prohibited or restricted categories. Its general availability as a payment platform does not establish a permitted casino-payment route.

A bank transfer is a separate instrument with its own provider and merchant conditions. It must not be used as a substitute instruction for evading LiqPay’s restrictions.

What Is LiqPay?

LiqPay is a checkout service run under the PrivatBank umbrella in Ukraine. Businesses connect it to a website, an app or a messenger bot, and customers pay there. As a LiqPay payment method it is built for merchants who receive money, not as a gaming wallet.

That distinction matters for payouts. Money that LiqPay settles to a merchant is the merchant's revenue. It is not an automatic route for sending winnings back to a customer.

What the Official Merchant Rules Say

The requirements page for websites lists goods and services that are prohibited or restricted under Ukrainian law, card scheme rules and the bank's internal policy. In that list we found access to gambling in casinos and on slot machines, bookmakers' offices and online casinos. The same list appears again on the page for messengers and bots.

Two limits apply. The page showed no version number or effective date, so we cannot say when the wording last changed. And it concerns merchants selling gambling services, not every PrivatBank product or bank transfer. Read the current page before relying on this summary.

Why Old Casino Pages May Still Mention LiqPay

An old logo or review is not evidence of a current permitted integration. Check the provider’s merchant requirements rather than treating an earlier casino listing as approval.

Deposits, Withdrawals and Refund Claims

Given the published restrictions, we do not present a LiqPay casino deposit as a normal step-by-step process. If a cashier offers it, ask the operator in writing about that route.

Three things get mixed up here:

• a refund of an ordinary purchase, which returns money to the card that paid;

• a merchant payout, which is a business moving funds out of its own account;

• a casino withdrawal, which is the operator releasing your winnings after its own checks.

Having one does not imply the others. A LiqPay casino withdrawal is not a feature we can confirm.

How to Check a Casino Payment Label

If a cashier does display LiqPay, work through it step by step:

• Note the operator's legal name and the market your account is registered in.

• Find the exact product on the screen, since the name alone may refer to something else.

• Ask support whether deposits and withdrawals are both available, and request the answer in writing.

• Compare it with the published restrictions above.

A label does not cancel the published rules. If answers are vague, stop before sending money.

Choosing a Currently Supported Payment Method

Open the cashier, see which methods your account can actually use, and read the rules for each. Pick a route the operator lawfully offers in your country, and never use an intermediary or a changed payment description to get around a restriction. Our Payments section covers other methods, and we name no casinos here because none has been confirmed with market, product and date.

Does LiqPay support online casinos?

The published merchant restrictions do not establish a generally available casino route. A casino’s support reply alone cannot override provider rules or local law; any claimed integration must be permitted under the applicable provider terms.

What do LiqPay merchant rules say about gambling?

They list access to casino gambling, slot machines, bookmakers and online casinos among prohibited or restricted services. The page we read carried no effective date.

Is LiqPay the same as a PrivatBank transfer?

No. LiqPay is a merchant checkout service, while a bank transfer is a separate banking operation with its own terms. The merchant rules do not describe every bank transfer.

Why do old casino guides list LiqPay?

An older listing may no longer match the product or its terms. A current, permitted integration needs more than a historical logo.

Can LiqPay merchant payouts be treated as casino withdrawals?

No. Merchant settlement is a business receiving its revenue, and a casino withdrawal is the operator paying a player. We know of no confirmed LiqPay casino withdrawal.
