About Spy-Casino

Spy-Casino is an association of players and gambling-industry professionals united by a common goal: to give players an honest, independent picture of online casinos and keep them informed of current, profitable offers.

We also build a dialogue between casinos and players — that's why we developed our own casino rating system and dedicated communication channels between market participants.

Spy-Casino Investigation

Our mission

We want the decision to join a casino to be based on facts, not on an advertising promise. That's why we don't just repeat what's on the operator's website — we test it in real life and publish a verdict nobody pays us for.

We don't get paid for our verdicts.
Ratings don't depend on the casino.

Our team

Reviews are written and checked by players with real industry experience — some work under the "spy" alias so the testing stays anonymous.

Our "spy"

Anonymous tester

Personally registers, deposits, plays and withdraws at every casino — posing as an ordinary player.

How we test casinos

We send in our spy: they register at the casino, make a deposit, play and request a withdrawal — anonymously, indistinguishable from a regular player. We don't get paid for this, so if a casino has shortcomings, we show them, and if it breaks the rules, we flag it in the review.

1

Anonymous sign-up — just like a regular player

2

A real deposit and play with real money

3

A withdrawal request — we record how it's handled

4

A verdict based on clear, objective criteria

Our principles

Accuracy

We check every fact ourselves through real gameplay, not by repeating what the casino's site says.

Independence

We don't get paid for our ratings, affiliate links never influence the verdict.

Transparency

We explain the Spy-Test methodology and give every casino the right to respond to a complaint.

Up to date

We track changing terms and update ratings — and our blacklist — whenever something shifts.

Responsible Gambling

Gambling should stay entertainment, not a way to make money or solve financial problems. Problem gambling usually builds up gradually, and it's easier to stop early than once it starts affecting your finances and relationships.

Signs it's time to slow down

  • You spend more money or time than you planned to
  • You try to win back losses ("chasing losses")
  • You hide how much you play or spend from people close to you
  • You borrow money or sell things to keep gambling
  • Gambling gets in the way of work, study, or sleep

What you can do

  • Set deposit, stake, and time limits before you start
  • Never borrow money or gamble on credit
  • Decide your budget before a session, not during it
  • Take breaks — don't gamble to escape stress
  • Use a time-out or self-exclusion if you need one

How self-control tools actually work

Limits

A cap on deposits, stakes, or losses per day/week/month. Raising a limit usually takes a 24-hour cooling-off period before it applies.

Time-out

A short pause without closing the account, typically 24 hours to 30 days, though some operators allow up to 12 months.

Self-exclusion

A longer block, usually 6 months to several years, or permanent. It can't be reversed early once confirmed.
