Bitcoin casinos take payment in BTC, which passes two separate gatekeepers. The Bitcoin network decides whether a transfer is confirmed. The casino decides whether, when and how much it credits to your account. A working network says nothing about whether an operator is licensed or quick to pay, and nothing here is a view on Bitcoin's price.

Our crypto casinos guide covers the wider category; the checks here focus on BTC addresses, confirmations and the difference between an account balance and an on-chain payment.

For an operator claiming Curaçao authorisation, check its Curaçao casino licence separately. A Bitcoin deposit address provides no evidence of the operator’s regulatory status.

What Does a Bitcoin Casino Actually Accept?

"Bitcoin" in a cashier can mean an on-chain BTC transfer to an address, a Lightning payment, or a wrapped BTC token living on another blockchain. These are different rails, and support for one is no evidence of the others. Sending the wrong kind to a deposit address can mean the funds never arrive.

BTC casinos also differ in whether the account is held in coins or in fiat such as EUR. We name no operators on this page, because none has been confirmed with a market, a product and a date.

Depositing BTC from a Wallet

Your Bitcoin casino wallet can be a phone app, a hardware device or an exchange account. The order of checks is the same:

• Pick Bitcoin in the cashier, on the network the casino names.

• Read the minimum and any quote validity.

• Check the entire destination address, the selected network and the amount before authorising the payment. Matching only the first and last characters is not sufficient protection against address substitution. Obtain the current deposit address from your own casino account.

• Send the amount and keep the transaction ID your wallet shows.

• Watch the confirmations, then check your casino balance.

Never reuse an address from an old email or a forum post. We print none here, and any page handing you a ready-made one deserves suspicion.

Confirmations and Pending Deposits

After you press send, your wallet broadcasts the transaction. It waits among unconfirmed transactions until a miner includes it in a block. Bitcoin.org says a first confirmation usually arrives somewhere between 10 and 60 minutes.

Casinos choose how many they want before crediting, so any Bitcoin casino confirmation time quoted elsewhere is a guess about someone else's setup. A Bitcoin casino pending deposit usually falls into one of three groups:

• The transaction has not been confirmed yet, usually because the fee you attached was low and the network is busy.

• It has confirmed, but fewer times than the casino requires.

• It is fully confirmed and the casino has not credited it.

A block explorer shows which group you are in. In the third case, send support the transaction ID, amount and address, and do not pay again.

Bitcoin Casino Withdrawals

A Bitcoin casino withdrawal begins with an address you supply and the network it belongs to. Then the operator reviews it, which is where identity checks, bonus rules and security holds apply. Only after approval does the casino broadcast the transaction, and only then do confirmations start.

Casino review, payout broadcast and blockchain confirmation are different stages. A pending label in the casino interface does not prove that no coins have moved. Ask for the transaction ID and check its network status; the interface may update after broadcast.

Withdraw only to a wallet you control. An address with one wrong character cannot be corrected afterward.

Network Fees, Casino Charges and Exchange Rates

Bitcoin casino fees come from several parties, each setting its own price. We give no figures, since they change.

Each layer can be small, yet they stack up. Compare what leaves your wallet with what the casino credits to see the real cost.

BTC Balances vs Fiat-Denominated Casino Accounts

If the casino holds your balance in fiat, the rate used at the moment of deposit and at the moment of payout matters. Take an illustrative case with made-up numbers: you deposit the BTC equivalent of 100 EUR and the casino books 100 EUR. Cash out that 100 EUR after Bitcoin has moved and you receive more or fewer coins than you sent.

A balance kept in BTC works the other way round: the coin amount is steady and its fiat worth moves. Check which model applies, because it decides who carries the price movement.

Privacy, Verification and Wrong Transfers

Bitcoin transactions sit permanently in a public ledger. Addresses are not names, but exchange records, repeat use and the casino itself can link them to a person.

Verification is the operator's matter, not the chain's. Many casinos ask for identity documents, at least before a withdrawal, so read the terms instead of trusting "no verification" marketing.

A confirmed transfer cannot be recalled. Bitcoin's design makes confirmed blocks very hard to alter, which guards against fraud and also against your own typo. Funds sent to a wrong address are recoverable only if the receiver chooses to help.

No row declares a winner. Bitcoin drops the middleman and the safety net together. Other methods are covered in our Payments overview.

How do I deposit Bitcoin at a casino?

Pick Bitcoin in the cashier, confirm the network, and send to the address shown. Keep the transaction ID.

How many BTC confirmations does a casino require?

It differs by operator and appears in the cashier or payment terms. No single number applies across casinos.

Why is my Bitcoin casino deposit pending?

It may await a block, lack enough confirmations, or be confirmed but not yet credited. A block explorer shows which.

Do Bitcoin casinos require verification?

Many do, particularly before withdrawals. The rules depend on the operator and its licence, so read the terms first.

Can I reverse a Bitcoin casino transfer?

No. Once confirmed it is final, and only the recipient can voluntarily send funds back.

Are Bitcoin casino withdrawals free?

User-visible fees depend on the transaction route and whether the provider passes on network costs. On-chain Bitcoin and Lightning payments have different fee arrangements.
