In the Netherlands, more than 20 thousand players have exercised the right to prohibit access to gambling

The CRUKS registry is part of the new gambling law in the Netherlands. Online gambling companies are required to check the registry before allowing their clients to access gambling.

Since the launch of CRUKS in October 2021, more than 20 thousand players have already taken advantage of the right to “self-exclude” from the registry in order to get rid of the addiction.

By deleting an account from the registry, players may voluntarily ban themselves from online gambling, slot machines or casinos for at least six months.

Kindred Group announces 23 million share buyback program

Kindred Group informed investors about the launch of a share buyback program. There are currently 230 million shares outstanding, of which 9.96 million are under the control of the group.

The share of Kindred cannot exceed 10% of the shares. For this reason, the company will not seek to return more than 23 million shares.

The mandate runs from August 1st until the next annual meeting which is expected in the second quarter of 2023. The main goal is to return excess cash to shareholders, the official statement explains.

Digitain became a software supplier for the Kazakh bookmaker Pin-Up

The software developer for bookmakers Digitain has signed a cooperation agreement with the Kazakh betting company Pin-Up.

As part of the deal, Digitain will provide its sports betting platform.

The agreement will expand the presence of both parties in the Urals. It will also help promote Digitain's online products to Western Asian players.
